Day 6 – Moving Mixers, Service and A Dead Camera

Dale's teaching outline    Thursday morning Dale lead the team and the staff in devotions.  He shared about the Lord removing the junk in our lives like in the process of wine making.  It was great.

Most of the team poured a concrete floor for a very small house.  We moved the mixer as close as we could but still had to push the wheel barrow up the hill and around.

Nate & Jordan Cubino worked on re-wiring an electrical outlet that had died.

My camera had been making funny noises the last few days and after a fall off my bed it died.  Fortunately Celia let me borrow hers for the rest of the trip.  After lunch, we all headed over to latrine #3 and helped get the big concrete lid in place.

Getting ready to put on the top

Before supper, the guys were tasked with the big duty of moving the mixer to the site for the next floor.  That meant moving it to one of the tallest points around and navigating narrow paths.  It was a workout!
That evening was the cell group meeting.  I ran Vic’s video camera as the group sang a song.

One Last Rehersal

Meredith, Alyssa and the local girls did their dance.  Then Vic brought the Word about Christian unity and forgiveness.  It was a great time.
