Today flew by at work.  But it was a good day.  I ate lunch with our student office assistance and got to talk a little with them.  I spent the rest of the day doing catch-up work and odds and ends.  I worked with Marg tonight.  It was a rehearsal dinner and Marg had some of my favorites.  Shrimp & Grits, green beans, and potato corn chowder were all great.  It was fun and easy.

UPDATE on Prayer Request (excerpts from my principal’s emails)

I just returned from Duke and Rolesha is out of critical condition. She is still in ICU and only immediate family members are allowed in. Rod went in
and said she is very drowsy and in pain, but opened her eyes and smiled. She is stable and will have another surgery tomorrow to set her pelvis and
her left leg (femur broken in two places). Rolesha will be moved to a regular room after the surgery..maybe Sunday or Monday. She also received a
deep gash on her left leg and of course, a caesarian yesterday.

Baby Jonathan is gorgeous! The hospital took pictures of him for her to see. His swelling is going down and he looks big for a 4 lb. baby! Big
shoulders! Dad thinks he will be at least 6" tall. They were getting ready to take him down for a CT scan, making sure there was no damage to his liver. There are still a lot of tubes , but they said his lungs seem to be doing well!

Update 3:30 Friday
Rolesha is being kept sedated in order to heal and to keep from pulling out tubes. They are still planning surgery for tomorrow, although they have
found fragments in her lung and are watching that closely. She has tried to talk with her husband and ask about the kids. he has a picture of the
baby to show her. She will be in the hospital a minimum of 2 weeks.
Baby jonathan is doing well, liver and kidney functions are fine. They are watching the lungs
